Having trouble getting your 6 Speed SRT-10 Ram in gear? Most likely the factory slave cylinder is the culprit. We noticed this problem very early on with our 2004 SRT-10, so we developed a complete hydraulics upgrade! The plastic casing of the factory slave cylinder has been a weak point for the 6 speed SRT-10 Rams, causing difficult shifts and lost races. Changing to the 1992-2010 Viper car slave cylinder with aluminum housing is much stronger. Unfortunately, in order to use the Viper car slave cylinder, you must also use the 1996-2002 Viper car clutch master cylinder as well (the line connection is different between the Viper car and Ram SRT-10) This kit includes the clutch slave shim for properly spacing the Viper slave, as well as master cylinder mounting and instructions. You supply the clutch slave and master cylinder to complete the kit. You will need: 1996-2002 Dodge Viper Clutch Slave Cylinder Assembly (original equipment or aftermarket).1996-2002 Dodge Viper Clutch Master Cylinder Assembly (original equipment or aftermarket). These items are available in our Gen 2 Viper clutch section.
