The Roe Racing front air duct corrects a minor airflow problem at the front of the Viper that has a negative effect on the water and oil cooling systems of the engine. In the car’s stock configuration, the air goes under the nose of the car and stacks up in the engine compartment behind the radiator, making it more difficult for air to pass through the radiator. Our ducting allows the high pressure air under the nose of the car to go through the radiator and keeps the air pressure behind the radiator lower. You will see decreased operating temperatures on the street and the racetrack upwards of 25 degrees F cooler. A lower temp thermostat (170 degree) and high flow catalytic converters definitely helps accomplish this as well.
